The Beaurin Legacy introduces an elven Enchanter/Thief and a hidden NPC to BGII:SoA, ToB, and BGII:EE. Minyae Beaurin can be found outside of the Crooked Crane in the City Gates. The mod includes custom portraits, friendship tracks, numerous banters and interjections, new items, encounters and quest(s), voicing for both NPCs (However, Minyae is fully voiced), a romance with a Bioware NPC, player-initiated dialogues, and custom friendship track themes.
This mod is designed to work with Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition and the original Baldur's Gate II: Shadows of Amn and Throne of Bhaal by Bioware.
The mod should be compatible with other WeiDU mods.

Enhanced Editions Note
The Enhanced Editions are actively supported games. Please note that every patch update will wipe your current mod setup! If in the middle of a modded game you might want to delay the patch update (if possible) as even after reinstalling the mods, you might not be able to continue with your old savegames. Alternatively, copy the whole game's folder into a new one that can be modded and will stay untouched by game patches. It is important that you install the mod to the language version you are playing the game in. Otherwise, the dialogues of the mod will not show but give error messages.
Windows
The Beaurin Legacy for BG2:SoA & ToB & BGII:EE for Windows is distributed as a self-extracting archive and includes a WeiDU installer. To install, simply double-click the archive and follow the instructions on screen.
Alternatively, the files can be extracted into your game directory using 7zip or WinRAR. When properly extracted, your game directory will contain setup-thebeaurinlegacy.exe and the folder thebeaurinlegacy. To install, double-click setup-thebeaurinlegacy.exe and follow the instructions on screen.
You can run setup-thebeaurinlegacy.exe in your game folder to reinstall, uninstall or otherwise change components.
macOS
The Beaurin Legacy for BG2:SoA & ToB & BGII:EE for macOS is distributed as a compressed tarball and includes a WeiDU installer.
First, extract the files from the tarball into your game directory. When properly extracted, your game directory will contain setup-thebeaurinlegacy, setup-thebeaurinlegacy.command, and the folder thebeaurinlegacy. To install, double-click setup-thebeaurinlegacy.command and follow the instructions on screen.
You can run setup-thebeaurinlegacy.command in your game folder to reinstall, uninstall or otherwise change components.
Linux
The Beaurin Legacy for BG2:SoA & ToB & BGII:EE for Linux is distributed as a compressed tarball and does not include a WeiDU installer. Linux users will need to do a one-time install of WeiDU (and a few other adjustments) as described in this great writeup.
To install, run 'WeInstall thebeaurinlegacy in your game folder.
Note for Complete Uninstallation
In addition to the methods above for removing individual components, you can completely uninstall the mod using setup-thebeaurinlegacy --uninstall at the command line to remove all components without wading through prompts.
This modification adds Minyae, a Neutral Evil Elf Enchanter/Mage, to the game. Her statistics are as follows:
Unlike most thieves and mages, she specializes in daggers and two weapon style. She also has a proficiency in darts.
Minyae includes a "friendship track" that continues through Throne of Bhaal, banters with all Bioware NPCs (including the Beamdog's four NPCs and a romance path for a certain Red Wizard), numerous interjections and extensive player-initiated dialogue.
In Throne of Bhaal, the hidden NPC also includes a "friendship track", banters with all Bioware NPCs, interjections, and extensive player-initiated dialogue.
The player can talk to Minyae or the Hidden NPC directly at any time in the game, no matter if the PC is on the friendship path or not. However, there is one specific friendship talk that must be initiated through the player-initiated dialogues to continue her friendship path in SoA. This dialogue will not be immediately available, you must wait approximately 45 minutes in real-time to initiate the talk.
